Inki is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information Inki ("App") handles, how it is handled, and your rights regarding your data. By downloading or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.


1. How Inki Works

Inki is a fully offline, device-local reading journal. Everything you create — books, shelves, reading sessions, ratings, notes, bookmarks, quotes, page photos, and map pins — is stored in a database on your device only. Inki has no user accounts, requires no password, runs no developer-operated server, and does not sync your data to any cloud service.

The only time data leaves your device is when you trigger a feature that needs the internet (see Section 5). Inki uses no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.


2. Information We Collect

We do not collect your personal data on any server, because we do not operate one. The information below is created by you and stored locally on your device. We have no access to it.

This data is saved to a local database on your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party. It persists until you delete individual records, erase all data in Settings, or delete the App.
